My organization has been hugely fortunate to have Devon Sullivan running its IT operations--single-handedly--for the last several years. He's a consummate professional with the full range of necessary technical skills plus the soft skills so many IT people lack.

Devon oversees all aspects of our infrastructure from planning and licensing to training to support. He manages our user and enterprise hardware and networks, manages deployment of new software and services, trains users, and handles all of our help desk tickets. Just a few of the ways Devon's work is exceptional: He has led our medium-size org ably through all of the challenges presented by the pandemic: new platforms, software deployment, hardware updates and distribution, training, and security. We continued our important work without missing a beat and Devon deserves much of the credit.

Devon of course has all of the technical skills and knowledge to manage IT from top to bottom, but he also has the soft skills that can be...lacking... in some techs. He is courteous, helpful, conscientious, and supremely diplomatic and professional even when working with an office full of frazzled attorneys and assorted non-techie colleagues. He is patient and never condescending with us, and we appreciate it.

Devon is attentively proactive on all security matters. We are a public-facing organization with regular press coverage, and part of a sector that is regularly a target of various flavors of extremists, so we rely on Devon's up-to-date knowledge of security threat models and his regular guidance on best practices. He does not wait for problems to arise, he scans the horizon daily and takes all necessary steps to keep our systems secure.

Devon writes clear, professional, comprehensive training documents that the least technologically proficient among us can follow without a hitch. His docs are not pedantically over-detailed, but do not glibly presume a certain high level of technical knowledge. Few IT managers have this facility with language and natural sense of pedagogy.

I have worked with many IT departments and IT directors, and I've been a high-level IT specialist myself in a large government department. I have worked with a number of impressive IT pros--and a few of the other kind as well. Devon is one of the best out there, in a region swimming in IT staff. If I ran a company or organization, I would hope to have a CIO or IT consultant at Devon's level of professionalism, experience, and humanity.

Devon is a life-line for any business. He is a top notch IT worker, with an amazing response time. Since we hired Devon, there has been no down time. With a click of the mouse, all is well. He is the consummate professional, dedicated and a real pleasure to work with.

Devon has implemented and managed our IT infrastructure for many years. We just went through a server replacement which has greatly improved the response time of our system. Devon is very responsive and can explain things to clients who aren’t real computer savvy. Very few network issues… most of the time we don’t even have to think about the system; whereas with another company we were constantly struggling with the network. Knowing the network is functioning properly allows us to focus on other things.

Devon has responded timely, resolved our issues, provides secure on/off-site backup, IT managed services, and virus protection. He is a real IT professional that I would (and do) recommend to anyone.

Devon is a great IT professional. He helped our organization turn the IT department around. When he first came on board, our servers were failing, our laptops were older, and our infrastructure was in hopelessly bad shape. He truly modernized our tech services, brought us on to the Cloud, turned our infrastructure around, and made the organization a much better place to work.

He led our organization through the beginning of the pandemic with barely any difference in working conditions. We were up and working remotely from day one. He strives to create training and documentation that anyone is able to easily follow along, even the less tech-savvy among us. He is great at dealing with the less tech inclined and is able to speak in a way that anyone can understand.

Devon has the knowledge and the work ethic to manage any IT department, he is a truly great IT tech to work with, and I give him my strongest recommendation for any organization.

Devon was an invaluable resource in helping get our IT department up to snuff. He took care of everything, from our network to our servers, helped us get new equipment, and took care of our help desk. Devon wrote excellent technical documents for our employees, which were easy to use and follow. I greatly recommend Devon for his high attention to detail with technology, his ability to be down-to-earth with regular non-tech people, and his high level of expertise in the technology world.
